CITY OF TROY, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 663
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TROY, KANSAS, ESTABLISHING THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE AT WHICH REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL SHALL BE HELD.
WHEREAS, the City of Troy, Kansas is, pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 15-101, a Kansas city of the third class; and,
WHEREAS, K.S.A. 15-106 provides that regular meetings of the city council of third class cities shall be held at such times as shall be prescribed by Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Troy, Kansas, has determined that it would be in the best interests of the City of Troy, Kansas and the citizens thereof that the city council of the City of Troy shall hold regular meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month commencing at 6:30 o’clock P.M., and that said regular meetings shall be held at the Troy City Hall, the address of which is 137 West Walnut, Troy, Kansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF TROY, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Troy, Kansas shall hold regular meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month commencing at 6:30 o’clock P.M., and that said regular meetings shall be held at the Troy City Hall, 137 West Walnut, Troy, Kansas.
SECTION 2. That any ordinance or section thereof in conflict with the terms and provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its publication in the official city newspaper.
Passed by the governing body and approved by the Mayor of the City of Troy, Kansas, on this 1st day of March, 2011.
