Just a reminder, do not mow grass clippings into streets.
Ordinance #690 states: it is unlawful to blow, throw, rake or in any manner deposit or cause to be deposited grass, leaves, tree branches, yard waste or debris of any kind upon or in any public street, roadway, alley, gutter, drainage ditch or drainage structure of any kind in the City of Troy.
First violation will be a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $250. Second violation will be a fine of not less than $50 nor n=more than $500 and possibly a jail sentence of no more than 30 days.
Please do not mow grass clippings into streets, or if you have to, remove the grass from the street in a timely manner.
