AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSITION OF CENTER TOWNSHIP, DONIPHAN COUNTY, KANSAS, IN REGARDS THE USE OF FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT OF THE CITY OF TROY, THE FIRE FIGHTERS IN CENTER TOWNSHIP AND REGULATING COMPENSATION THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF TROY, KANSAS:
Sec. 1. That the City of Troy hereby accepts the terms and conditions set out in the resolution by Center Township for the use of fire equipment of the City of Troy, jurisdiction in Center Township and said City of Troy agrees to service said equipment suitable for extinguishing fires in said township whenever called if it is possible to do so.
That said Center Township shall pay to the said City of Troy the actual expense for each trip or run in said township when called to fire therein; the expense to be $5.00 for the Fire Chief and Two Dollars each for each and every member of the fire department of Troy making the run to extinguish fire, also the gasoline and oil necessary on each run and said Center Township is to pay in addition to all of the above costs any necessary repairs or repairs to the fire equipment used that may be broken, injured or destroyed on any such run.
Sec. 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication thereof in the Kansas Chief.
