ORDINANCE NO. 271
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND CREATING A SEWERAGE DISPOSAL DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF TROY, KANSAS
WHEREAS, the State Board of Health of the State of Kansas has notified and instructed said City of Troy, Kansas, to build a disposal system or disposal plant for the sewerage of said City, and that the governing body of said City of Troy, Kansas, deems it advisable and necessary for the purpose of promoting public health and convenience that said disposal plant be built;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF TROY, KANSAS:
Section 1. That the entire City of Troy be and it is hereby constituted a sewerage disposal district and that a sewerage disposal system be installed for the disposal of sewerage in said City and that the governing body take the necessary steps to carry out such project.
