The Troy City Council met in regular session Tuesday October 5, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. at the Troy City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Sarah J. Boeh-Cerra. Mayor Sarah J. Boeh-Cerra and Council members Stan Ruhnke, Cody Miller, Tim Hanlan, and Micheal Brissett answered roll call. Council member Nick Popple was absent. Also present were City Clerk Jim Richardson, Working Supervisor Jim Horner, City Attorney Alan Boeh, and Bob Williamson.
Motion was made by Micheal Brissett, second by Tim Hanlan, to approve the Council minutes of the September 21, 2021. Vote – unanimous with those Council members present. Motion carried.
The Council reviewed and discussed the bills presented.
Motion was made by Stan Ruhnke, second by Tim Hanlan to approve the bills as listed AP check number 12791 thru 12813 in the amount of $10,417.14. Vote – unanimous with those Council members present. Motion carried.
Council member Nick Popple arrived at 6:38 p.m.
Bob Williamson addressed the Council concerning Lower State Street and other issues regarding his property at 501 S. Main Street. Discussion followed
The Council discussed the following issues with Working Supervisor Jim Horner. Stocking the city pond with fish; Electrical issues in the City; and PoleEnforcer ground line reinforcement for electrical poles.
Motion was made by Stan Ruhnke, second by Tim Hanlan to have the City Pond stocked by Raccoon Valley Fisheries at a cost of $3,000.00. Vote – unanimous. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Tim Hanlan, second by Stan Ruhnke to have fifteen poles done by PoleEnforcer. Motion was amended to table matter.
The Council discussed the following items: City Electrical Engineers; and electrical and sewer rates.
