Kevin Thompson from Fire District Number 3 addressed the Council concerning thepossibilityof AmbulanceDistrict Number1 providingambulanceservice to District Number 3.Discussionfollowed.
City Attorney Alan Boeh and City Clerk Jim Richardson presented the Council withproposedOrdinancenumber721, an Ordinanceestablishingrates for users of water, providingfortapsandconnectionstotheCitywatermainsandestablishingtheratestherefore,providingfor the installation of water meters and for an account processing fee associated therewith,prohibiting the making of installations, taps and connection by certain persons, providingpenaltiesforviolating certainprovisionsofthisordinance,fixingdatesforthepaymentofwaterbills, providing for the billing and payment of charges, providing for the imposition of adelinquencychargeandforthediscontinuance ofwaterserviceforfailuretopaybill,providingfor automaticfuture increasesto rates and charges effective January1, 2023.Discussionfollowed.
