The TroyCity Councilmet in regular session TuesdayApril 20, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. at theTroyCityHall.ThemeetingwascalledtoorderbyMayorSarahJ.Boeh-Cerra.MayorSarahJ.Boeh-CerraandCouncilmembersNickPopple,StanRuhnke,CodyMiller,andMichealBrissettansweredroll call.CouncilmemberTim Hanlan was absent.Also present were City Clerk JimRichardson, City Attorney Alan Boeh, Working Supervisor Jim Horner, Ambulance DirectorMatt McKittrick, Tanner Veach, Michael Wilburn, Kevin Thompson, and Daniel BauerkemperbyZoom.

DanielBauerkemperfromLutz,Daily&Brain,LLCaddresstheCouncilvia Zoomonpossible electricalline extension routesto propertyowned by Norman Meng.Discussionfollowed.TheCouncilconcurredtoresearchthematterfurther.
Norman Meng addressed the Council concerning the Rodeo that will be held in June2021 and the City providing two port-a-pots for the street dance on Main Street on June 18,2021.Discussionfollowed.
MotionwasmadebyStanRuhnke,secondbyMichealBrissetttoprovidetwoport-a-potsforthestreetdanceonMainStreetonJune18,2021.Vote-unanimouswiththoseCouncilmemberspresent.Motioncarried.
MichaelWilburnfromEchoElectricSupplyaddressedtheCouncilconcerningreplacingthe lighting on the baseball field with LED lighting. Discussion followed. The Councilconcurredtoresearchthematterfurther.
Kevin Thompson from Fire District Number3 addressedthe Council concerningthepossibilityofAmbulanceDistrictNumber1providingambulanceservicetoDistrictNumber3.Discussionfollowed.TheCouncilconcurredtoresearchthematterfurther.
The Council discussed the following items with Ambulance Director Matt McKittirick:Hiring a part-time employee; bids for purchasing a washer & dryer for the ambulance building;andtheambulancedistrictstudybeingconductedbyFitch&Associates.
The Council concurred to interview the potential part-time ambulance employee at theMay4,2021Councilmeeting.
MotionwasbyStanRuhnke,secondbyMichealBrissetttopurchaseawasher&dryerfor the ambulancebuildingfromMenards at a cost of $900.00.Vote -unanimouswith thoseCouncilmemberspresent.Motioncarried.
TheCouncildiscussed thefollowingitemswithWorkingSupervisorJimHorner:Bidsfor the potential oil and chatting of City streets for 2021; Bids for repairs to the bobcat; andrepairsneedfortheJohnDeereSkidSteer.
Motion was made by Micheal Brissett, second by Cody Miller to accept the bid fromApprovedPavingLLCfor2021oilingandchattingatacostof$54,000.00.Vote-unanimouswiththoseCouncilmemberspresent.Motioncarried.
MotionwasmadebyStanRuhnke,secondbyCodyMillertoacceptthebidfromKCBobcat for bobcat repairs in the amount of $2,000.00.Vote -unanimous with those Councilmemberspresent.Motioncarried.
TheCouncilconcurredtohavetheWorkingSupervisorJimHornergetmultiplebids forrepairstotheJohnDeereSkidSteer.
The Councildiscussedthe followingitem with CityClerk Jim Richardson:Theupcomingelectric increase for the Aprilelectricbill from the true up cost from the Februaryweatherevent.
Therebeing no furtherbusiness, motion was made by Stan Ruhnke, secondby CodyMiller to adjourn the meeting. Vote -unanimouswith those Councilmembers present.Motioncarried.Themeetingadjournedat 9:05p.m.
