The City of Troy is seeking a candidate who is highly motivated, ethical, a self-starter and dedicated to the principals of community-oriented policing. New hires will be required to complete a six-month probationary period. Minimum requirements include no felonies, domestic violence or serious misdemeanor offenses, United States citizen, 21 years of age, High school Diploma, valid driving record, Current KLETC certification or eligibility for certification by reciprocity is required. Candidates must pass a background check, and drug screening. Salary range $17.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
