Ordinance No. 69
An Ordinance Relating to Billiard Halls and Bowling Alleys
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Section 1.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to keep open in the City of Troy any bowling alley, billiard hall, or any place where billiards or pool are played, without first having obtained a license therefor from the City.
Section 2.
(Amended by Ordinance No. 79.)
Section 3.
Any person who violates any provision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
Any place kept in violation of any provision of this ordinance is hereby declared to be a public nuisance.
Section 4.
The City Marshal shall be directed to close up and abate such nuisance.
Section 5.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in The Weekly Kansas Chief.
