An Ordinance to Amend Section 28 of Article 5 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Troy

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Section 1.

That Section 28 of Article 5 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Troy be amended so as to read as follows:

Section 28. Any person who shall knowingly and willfully obstruct, resist, or abuse the City Marshal in the discharge of his duties, or any person who shall be summoned or commanded by the Marshal to assist him in suppressing any riot, dispersing any riotous or unlawful assembly, or in arresting any person subject to arrest by the Marshal, and who shall, without good excuse therefor, fail to obey such summons or command, shall be fined in any sum not exceeding twenty-five dollars ($25).

Section 2.

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in The Weekly Kansas Chief.
