An Ordinance to Repeal Certain Ordinances

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Section 1.

The following ordinances of the “Old Series”—that is, all ordinances enacted before October 8, 1870—severally described by their numbers and dates of approval, as they appear in the original ordinances on file with the City Clerk of the City of Troy, are hereby repealed:

Section 2.

Section 3.

The repeal of the ordinances designated by their numbers and dates of approval shall not affect any accruing or accrued right of any person or persons, nor any proceeding pending at the time of such repeal, nor forfeitures incurred under any of them prior to such repeal.

Section 4

That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with any of the ordinances passed or revised on the 22nd day of March, 1878, and published in pamphlet form, be and the same are hereby repealed.

Section 5

This ordinance shall take effect when published in the pamphlet book of ordinances prepared and revised by W. C. Heatley, and published by authority of the City Council in 1878.
