An Ordinance Concerning the Employment of the County Surveyor
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Section 1.
The County Surveyor may be employed by the Mayor and Council to locate and survey, under their direction, any street, avenue, lane, or alley through, in, or upon any land within the limits of the city, and to make returns of each survey, duly certified by him, to the City Council.
Section 2.
Such fees or compensation shall be allowed to such Surveyor as are prescribed by law, or such as the Mayor and Council may allow.
