Ordinance #254
An ordinance authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to contract for the construction of a Waterworks and sewage system.
Be it ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Troy:
Section (1) That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to contract for the construction of a water works plant, distribution system, and sewer system for the City of Troy, Kansas, in accordance with Ordinance #251 and Resolution dated March 13th, 1929, as shown in the minutes on file with the City Clerk. Bids having been received on the 8th day of July, 1929 at 2:00 P.M. on the above state and the contract awarded to the G. R. Risk Construction Company on said day as the most satisfactory bidder as determined by Governing Body.
Section (2) This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication as required by law in the Kansas Chief.
