Ordinance #253
An Ordinance compelling each person owning dogs in the City of Troy to have same vaccinated for rabies.
Be it ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Troy:
Section (1) It shall be unlawful for any person owning a dog in the City of Troy to allow the same to run at large unless said dog bears a tag indicating that the said dog has been vaccinated for rabies.
Section (2) All persons violating the above section shall be fined in the sum not exceeding Fifty Dollars and all dogs that have not been vaccinated and are running at large within the City of Troy shall be killed by the Marshal.
Section (3) This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
