Ordinance #251
An Ordinance authorizing the calling of a special election by the City of Troy, Kansas, to vote upon the proposition of issuing bonds for the purpose of constructing a waterworks system for said city.
Be it ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Troy, Kansas:
Section (1) An election shall be called to be held at the Court House in the City of Troy, Kansas, on January 11th, 1929, to vote upon the following proposition, to-wit:
“Shall bonds be issued by the City of Troy, Kansas, in the amount of $35,000.00 for the purpose of constructing a waterworks system for said City of Troy, Kansas?”
Section (2) The Mayor and Council are directed to forthwith prepare notice of such election, which notice shall be prepared and published as provided by law.
Section (3) This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its publication in the Kansas Chief, the Official City Paper.
Passed and approved this 11th day of December, 1928.
