An Ordinance Making the Tax Levy for the City of Troy, Doniphan County, Kans.
Be it ordained by the Governing Body of the City of Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas.
Section (1) That for the purpose of General Revenue there shall be levied upon all the taxable property within the City of Troy, Kansas, 3 mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of the property in the City of Troy.
Section (2) That for opening, widening and bringing to grade all streets, alleys and avenues, and for the building of bridges, culverts, and sewers, there shall be levied a tax of 3 mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of all the taxable property in the City of Troy.
Section (3) That for the purpose of sewers and drainage line in said City, there shall be levied on all taxable property within said City 1 mill on the dollar on the assessed valuation of all property within the City of Troy.
Section (4) That for the purpose of paying for grading, curbing and guttering, and for paving the intersections of streets and alleys of the City of Troy, chargeable to the City at large, there shall be levied on all taxable property within said City 11 mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of all property in said City.
Section (5) There shall be levied against all property within the City of Troy ½ mill on the dollar on the assessed valuation of all property within said City for a Music Fund.
Section (6) That for raising an interest and sinking fund with which to pay all accrued and accruing interest and principal on paving bonds for the year 1928 and 1929 in excess assessments levied and delinquent, there shall be levied against all taxable property in said City 5 mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of all property in the City of Troy.
Section (7) That there shall be levied against all the taxable property within the City of Troy 1 mill on the dollar on the assessed valuation of all property in said City for a Fire Fund.
Section (8) That for the purpose of paying for Street Lighting, there shall be levied 2 mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of all taxable property in the City of Troy, Kansas.
Section (9) This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
in the Kansas Chief.
