An Ordinance Relating to the Change of Certain Street Names in East Troy
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Section 1. The following street names are hereby changed:
- Deer Creek Street shall be renamed Locust Street.
- Michigan Street shall be renamed Boone Street.
- Wilson Street shall be renamed Walnut Street.
- Kansas Street shall be renamed Chestnut Street.
- McClellan Street shall be renamed State Street.
- Doniphan Street shall be renamed ? (the new name is illegible in the scan).
This ordinance shall take effect from and after its publication in pamphlet form.

Ordinance No. 26
An Ordinance in Relation to the Extension and Location of Certain Streets
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Section 1.
Park Street is hereby extended as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Block 30 (Covalt Addition) and the southeast corner of Block 31 (Hampson Addition), extending south a distance of 1,060 feet.
The line running south from the southwest corner of Block 30 is established as the east boundary of Park Street.
The line running south from the southeast corner of Block 31 is established as the west boundary of Park Street.
The street shall be 80 feet wide.
Section 2.
A new street is hereby established as follows:
Beginning at a point 1,060 feet south of the southwest corner of Block 30 and 980 feet south of the southeast corner of Block 31, and running east to the boundary of the City of Troy, the same is hereby established as Jones Street.
(The beginning of Section 2 is on the previous page; this portion identifies the newly established street as Jones Street.)
Section 3.
The sum of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) is hereby appropriated to N. Jones and C. J. Jones in consideration for the right-of-way granted by them in the extension of Park Street and the location of Jones Street, as provided in Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance.
Section 4.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the 26th day of April, A.D. 1879.
