An Ordinance fixing the rates for all consumers of electricity in the City of Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas, for the Electric Body of the City of Troy.
Section (1) That the following rates for the consumers of electricity shall be in full force and effect from and after the 1st day of June, 1928.
Section (2) For light & refrigeration, Schedule “A”
For the first 30 K.W. — 10¢
For the next 50 K.W. — 8¢
All over — 80 K.W. — 6¢
There shall be a minimum charge of $1.00 per meter per month.
Section (3) Power, motors separately 2 H.P. or over, Schedule “B”
For the first 30 K.W. — 7¢
For the next 50 K.W. — 6¢
For the next 100 K.W. — 5¢
For all over 180 K.W. — 4¢
There shall be a minimum charge of $2.00 per meter per month.
Section (4) Street Lighting, Schedule “C”
Each street light per month $1.35
Section (5) Heating and Cooking, Schedule “D”
First 100 K.W. — 5¢
All over 100 K.W.
There shall be a minimum charge of $3.00 per meter per month.
Section (6) All rates to consumers outside of city will be 2 cents per kilowatt higher than those in Sections 2, 3, and 5.
Section (7) That all non-property owners having meters installed after June 1st, 1928 must pay a deposit of $3.00.
Section (8) This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the time of its passage and signing by the Mayor and publication in the Kansas Chief.
