An Ordinance regulating the height of all wires, electric light, telephone and telegraph wires crossing the streets and alleys of the City of Troy, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I. That it shall be the duty of all Electric Light Companies, or Corporations, and all Telegraph Companies or Corporations in crossing any of the streets and alleys of the City of Troy, with their permanent wires, to place the same at said crossings, at a height not less than eighteen feet from the ground, pavement, clear across said street or alley.
Sec. II. Any manager or employee of any of said companies or corporations who shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a crime and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum of not less than Ten Dollars nor more than Twenty-five Dollars.
Sec. III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
