Ordinance No. 235
An Ordinance prohibiting dealers, agents or salesmen from using the public streets, alleys or sidewalks of the City of Troy as a place of storage or for exhibitions of their goods, wares, merchandise, farm machinery, wagons, automobiles, trucks or tractors brought to be sold.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:
Sec. I. That it shall be unlawful for any dealer, agent, salesman or any other person, merchant, company or corporation, to use any of the streets, alleys or public walks of the City of Troy, Kansas, for a place of storage or exhibiting of any goods, wares, merchandise
farm machinery, wagons, automobiles, trucks or tractors brought to be sold.
Sec. II. Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined in a sum not less than Five Dollars, nor more than Fifty Dollars, and upon conviction pay in addition to said fine the cost of prosecution and be confined in the City prison till said fine and cost are paid.
Sec. III. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Sec. IV. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
