An ordinance making the tax levy for the City of Troy, Kansas for the year 1925.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Sec. I. That for general revenue purposes there shall be levied upon all of the taxable property within said city, twelve mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of the property in said city of Troy, Kansas.

Sec. II. That for the purpose of paying for construction of a main sewer and drainage line in said City, there shall be levied upon all of the taxable property within said City, one (1) mill on the dollar on the assessed valuation of the property in said City.

Sec. III. That for the purpose of paying for paving, for grading, curbing, guttering and paving of the intersections of streets and alleys of the City of Troy, Kansas, chargeable to the City at large, there shall be levied upon all of the taxable property within said City, eight (8) mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of the property in said City.

Sec. IV. There shall be levied against all of the taxable property within the City of Troy one-half (½) mill on the dollaron the assessed valuation of said property in said City, for the Music Fund.

Sec. V. That for the purpose of raising an interest and sinking fund with which to pay off accrued and accruing interest and principal on the paving bonds for the years 1925 and 1926 in excess of assessments levied and delinquent, there shall be levied upon all of the taxable property within said City, Eight (8) mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of the property in said City.

Sec. VI. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication in the official city paper, The Kansas Chief.
