An Ordinance in Relation to the Running of Railroad Trains

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Section 1. It shall be the duty of the conductors of all trains conveying passengers on the Saint Joseph & Denver City Railroad to stop all such trains at the depot in the City of Troy for at least one and one-half (1½) minutes, and at all times for a sufficient length of time to enable passengers desiring to do so to safely get on and off the train before the same shall be put in motion.

Section 2. Any conductor violating the provisions of the first section of this ordinance shall be fined in a sum not exceeding twenty-five dollars ($25).

This ordinance shall take effect after its publication according to law.
