An ordinance forbidding placing of trash on paved streets.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:
Sec. I. That it be unlawful for any person or persons to deposit or throw or burn upon the paved streets or alleys of the City of Troy, or in the drains or catch-basins along or in said streets, any refuse matter, dirt, rubbish, trash, rocks, sand, wire or other material to clog said drains.
Sec. II. Any person violating any of the provisions of Section One of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof be fined not less than Two Dollars nor more than Twenty Five Dollars for each offense.
Sec. III. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the foregoing are hereby repealed.
Sec. IV. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
