An ordinance making the tax levy for the City of Troy for the year 1921.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:
Sec. I. That for general revenue purposes there shall be levied upon all taxable property within said City of Troy three (3) mills on the dollar on the assessed valuation of the property of the City of Troy, Kansas.
Sec. II. That for opening, widening and trimming streets or grade all streets, avenues and alleys and sidewalks across the streets, avenues and alleys, there shall be levied a tax of three (3) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property in the said City of Troy, Kansas.
Sec. III. That for the purpose of paying for grading, curbing, guttering and paving of the intersections of streets and alleys of the City of Troy, chargeable to the City at large, there shall be levied upon all taxable property within said City of Troy eleven (11) mills on the dollar for the assessed valuation of the property of said City of Troy, Kansas.
Sec. IV. That for the purpose of paying for the construction of a new sewer and drainage line in said City there shall be levied upon all taxable property within said City of Troy one (1) mill on the dollar on the assessed valuation of the property in said City of Troy, Kansas.
Sec. V. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the foregoing is hereby repealed.
Sec. VI. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
