Ordinance No. 208A

An ordinance establishing and fixing the sidewalk grade on the west side of Park Street from the intersection of the north line of State Street with Park Street, north to the intersection of the south line of Walnut Street with said Park Street and hereby repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, all in the original town of Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:

Sec. I. That the sidewalk grade on the west side of Park Street, in the original town, now the City of Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas, commencing at the intersection of the north line of State Street with said Park Street, thence north three blocks to the intersection of the south line of Walnut Street with said Park Street, is hereby established as follows:

North line of State Street — 97.25
100 ft. north of north line of State Street — 98.8
South line of Poplar Street — 95.0
North “ “ — 98.4
South “ Chestnut “ — 87.1
North “ “ — 86.0
100 ft. north of north line of Chestnut Street — 84.9
200 “ “ “ “ “ — 81.0
South line of Walnut Street — 77.0

Said points above given shall be connected by straight lines or vertical curves to give a smooth grade.

The bench mark from which these elevations were taken is a concrete block situated on southeast corner of State Street and Park Street; top of which was taken as 100.00.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Sec. II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
