Ordinance No. 199
An ordinance authorizing the Mayor and Council in the City of Troy, Kansas, to approve the contract between P. C. Candee & Company, contractors, and the City of Troy.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:
Sec. I. That the Mayor and Councilmen of Troy are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to approve the contract made and entered into for the grading, repairing, paving, curbing and guttering, draining and otherwise improving Poplar Street from Main Street to Centre Street; Centre Street from Poplar Street to State Street; State Street from Centre Street to Park Street; State Street Park Street from State Street to Jones Street; Jones Street from Park Street to County Road, in the City of Troy, Kansas, said contract being between P. C. Candee & Co., Contractors, and the City of Troy, Kansas, for the paving, repairing of said above mentioned work.
Sec. II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force after its passage and publication in the Kansas Chief as required by law.
