Ordinance No. 197
An ordinance authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to receive bids for the construction of street improvements.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:
Sec. I. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to secure bids for the construction of street improvements as called for in Ordinance No. 195 and as shown in plans and called for in specifications now on file with the City Clerk.
Said bids to be opened on the 14th day of September, 1920 at 2 o’clock P.M. and opened all bids on at 2:30 o’clock P.M. on the same date, and the bid of the most satisfactory bidder will be determined upon by the Mayor and Councilmen to be accepted and the contract awarded therefore, or no bid is accepted, all bids will be rejected.
Sec. II. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the Kansas Chief as required by law.
