Ordinance No. 190

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Sec. I.

That it shall be unlawful for any person or persons owning or operating any tractor, truck, or threshing machine, or any other vehicle or machine with lugs or spikes on the wheels of the same, to operate said tractor, truck, threshing machine, or other vehicle or machine over any of the paved or improved streets in this City without first removing said lugs or spikes from said wheels, so that the same shall have a smooth surface where the said wheels come in contact with the said street, or to operate said street in passing over the same so that the said lugs or spikes do not come into contact with the said pavement.

Sec. II.

Any person or persons violating Section I of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense.

Sec. III.

This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
