Ordinance No. 173
An ordinance authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to receive bids for the construction of street improvements.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Troy, Kansas:
Sec. I.
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to receive bids for the construction of street improvements as called for in Ordinance No. 172 and as shown in the specifications now on file with the City Clerk.
Said bids to be received on the 26th day of January, 1920, at 2:00 P.M., and acted upon at 2:30 P.M. on the same date, and the bid to be accepted and a contract awarded to the most satisfactory bidder, as determined by the Mayor and Council, and to accept or reject any bid.
Sec. II.
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law in the Kansas Chief.
