Ordinance No. 166
An ordinance levying taxes within the corporate limits of the City of Troy for the year 1919.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I. That there be and is hereby levied a tax of:
- One (1) mill for general purposes;
- For opening, widening and bridging, to grade the streets, avenues and alleys, and for the building of bridges and culverts and sewers and foot-walks across streets, avenues and alleys, one (1) mill;
- For street lighting, one-half (½) mill;
upon all property within the corporate limits of the City of Troy, Kansas.
Sec. II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
