Ordinance No. 165
An ordinance establishing a grade on Boone Street, in East Troy, from the east line of Second Street to the city limits.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I.
That the grade on both sides of Boone Street, in East Troy, from the east line of Second Street east to the city limits, is hereby established as follows:
Beginning on Boone Street on the east line of Second Street, East Troy, an addition to the original town, now the City of Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas, elevation 1123.0 feet in the center of Boone Street, being 18.62 feet below the Bench Mark on the top of the retaining wall at the southwest corner of the Court House Square; and on the north side of Boone Street 1240 feet, and on the south side of Boone Street 1220 feet; thence east on a plane in the center line of Boone Street 150 feet, elevation 1119.0 feet on both sides of street; thence east on a plane in the center of said street 150 feet to Third Street, elevation 1110.2 feet on both sides of street; thence east on a plane 80 feet to the east side of Third Street, elevation 1108.0 feet on each side of street; thence east on a plane 300 feet to Fourth Street, elevation 1090.7 feet on each side of street; thence east in the center of street 80 feet to the east side of Fourth Street, elevation 1088.0 feet on each side of street; thence east on a plane in the center of street 300 feet, more or less, to Fifth Street, elevation 1079.0 feet on both sides of street; thence east on a plane 80 feet to the east side of Fifth Street, elevation 1079.0 feet on each side of street; thence east on a plane in the center of the street 300 feet, more or less, to Sixth Street, elevation 1072.0 feet on each side of street; thence east on a plane in the center of street 300 feet, more or less, to Seventh Street, elevation 1078.44 feet on each side of street; thence east on a plane in the center of the street 80 feet to the east side of Seventh Street, elevation 1073.6 feet on each side of street; thence east on a plane in center of street 140 feet, more or less, to the East City Limits, the same per cent grade on each side of street.
Sec. II.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
