Ordinance No. 161

An ordinance vacating a portion of McClure Street in East Troy, also addition to the City of Troy, Kansas.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Sec. I. That that portion of McClure Street in East Troy, also addition to the City of Troy, Kansas, bounded and described as follows, be and the same is hereby vacated, to wit:

Commencing at the southerly right-of-way line of the St. Joseph and Grand Island Railway Company, where the same intersects the north line of McClure Street in said East Troy; thence southwesterly on a line parallel to and 50 feet distantfrom the center of the main track of said Railway Company to the south line of McClure Street; thence west on and along the south line of McClure Street three hundred and two (302) feet, more or less, to the east line of the proposed new street crossing over the railway tracks; thence northwesterly along the easterly line of said proposed new crossing to the north line of McClure Street; thence east along the north line of McClure Street to the place of beginning.

Sec. II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
