An ordinance making tax levy for the City of Troy for the year 1917.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I. That for general revenue purposes for the year 1917 there shall be levied upon all taxable property within said City of Troy one and three-fourths (1¾) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property in the said City of Troy.
Sec. II. That for the purpose of creating a sinking fund and raising interest to pay on the Electric Light Bonds heretofore voted by the said City of Troy, for the year 1917, there shall be levied upon the taxable property within said City of Troy one and one-half (1½) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property in the said City of Troy.
Sec. III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
