Ordinance No. 156
An ordinance making tax levy for the City of Troy for the year 1915.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I. That for general revenue purposes for the year 1915 there shall be levied upon all the taxable property within said City of Troy one and three-fourths (1¾) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property of the said City of Troy.
Sec. II. That for opening, widening and grading any and all streets, and for improvements of the squares and areas formed by the crossing of streets, and for building bridges, culverts and sewers and for footwalks across streets, for the year 1915, there shall be levied upon the taxable property within said City of Troy one-half (½) of one mill on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property in said City of Troy.
Sec. III. That for the purpose of creating a sinking fund and for raising interest to pay on the electric light bonds heretofore voted by the said City of Troy for the year 1915, there shall be levied upon the taxable property within said City of Troy one and one-half (1½) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation dollar of the assessed valuation of the property within the said City of Troy.
Sec. IV. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
