Ordinance No. 150

An ordinance making a tax levy for the City of Troy for the year 1913.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Sec. I. That for general revenue purposes for the year 1913 there shall be levied upon all the taxable property within said City of Troy one and one-half (1½) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property of said City.

Sec. II. That for opening, widening and grading any and all streets, and all improvements of the squares and areas formed by the crossing of streets, and for the building of bridges, culverts and sewers and for roadways across streets for the year 1913, for the said City of Troy, there shall be levied upon the taxable property within said City of Troy one-quarter (¼) mill on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property in said City of Troy.

Sec. III. That for the purpose of creating a sinking fund and paying interest to pay on the electric light bonds heretofore voted by said City of Troy for the year 1913, there shall be levied upon the taxable property within said City of Troy one and one-half (1½) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property within said City of Troy.

Sec. IV. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
