Ordinance No. 145
An ordinance making the tax levy for the City of Troy for the year 1912.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I. That for general revenue purposes for the year 1912 there shall be levied upon all the taxable property within the City of Troy two and one-half (2½) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property of said City of Troy.
Sec. II. That for opening, widening and grading, and all direct and permanent improvements of the squares and areas formed by the crossing of streets, and for the building of bridges, culverts and sewers, and for roadways across streets for the year 1912, there shall be levied upon the taxable property within said City of Troy one-half (½) mill upon the dollarof the assessed valuation of the property of said City of Troy.
Sec. III. That for the purpose of paying the interest on the electric light bonds heretofore voted by said City of Troy for the year 1912, there shall be levied upon the taxable property within said City of Troy three-fourths (¾) of one mill on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property of said City of Troy.
Sec. IV. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
