An Ordinance Relating to Elections and Repealing Original Ordinance No. 14.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
SEC. 1. That the regular annual election of Mayor, Police Judge, City Clerk, City Marshal, Street Commissioner and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas, shall hereafter be held on the first Tuesday in April of each year. The place of holding said annual election shall be at such place as the Mayor and Councilmen may designate, and the Mayor shall issue a proclamation for every such election, giving at least ten days’ notice thereof, announcing the offices to be filled, and the place where, and the time when, said election will be held.
SEC. 2. All matters not provided for herein pertaining to the manner of conducting elections shall be governed by the general election laws of the State of Kansas which are applicable to cities of the third class.
SEC. 3. Ordinance No. 14 of the revised ordinances is hereby repealed.
SEC. 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its publication in pamphlet form.
