Ordinance No. 139
An ordinance granting to the Kansas City Long Distance Telephone Company, its successors and assigns, the right to construct, operate and maintain a telephone line in and along certain streets and alleys, across certain streets in the City of Troy, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I. That the Kansas City Long Distance Telephone Company, a corporation, its successors and assigns, be hereby granted the right to erect, construct and maintain a line of wires, with all necessary and usual fixtures thereto belonging, for the purpose of operating and maintaining a long distance telephone line over, in and along the streets and alleys herein mentioned: From a point on Main Street between Chestnut Street and Poplar Street, east across Main Street through the alley in Block Twenty-three (23) to Liberty Street.
Sec. II. This ordinance shall be and remain in force for and during a period of ten (10) years from and after the date of its passage and approval.
