Ordinance No. 138
An ordinance directing the calling of an election for the submission of the question to the electors of the City of Troy, Kansas, of voting bonds for the purpose of purchasing and constructing apparatus and works for furnishing the City of Troy and its inhabitants with electric light.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I. That the Mayor, councilmen and other proper officers of the City of Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas, are hereby authorized and directed to call an election for the submission of the question to the qualified electors of the City of Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas, of voting bonds for the purpose of purchasing and constructing apparatus and works for furnishing and supplying the City of Troy and its inhabitants with electric light.
Sec. II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
