Ordinance No. 128

An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 44 of the Compiled Ordinances of the City of Troy.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:

Section 1

That Section One (1) of Ordinance No. 44 of the Compiled Ordinances of the City of Troy be, and the same is hereby, amended so as to read:

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to run, or permit to be run, any whisky or beer merry-go-round in the City of Troy without first obtaining a license therefor as provided by ordinance and paying to the City Treasurer the sum of not less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each day such merry-go-round is operated.

Section 2

Section Two (2) shall be amended to read:

Any person violating the provisions of the preceding section shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00).
