Ordinance No. 122

An Ordinance Levying a City Tax for the Year 1906.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of Troy, Kansas:

Section 1

That there is hereby levied on all taxable real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Troy a tax of three (3) mills on the dollar for general purposes.

Section 2

That there is hereby levied on all taxable real estate within the corporate limits of the City of Troy a tax of two (2) mills on the dollar for the purpose of:

  • Widening and grading streets;
  • Building foot bridges across streets; and
  • Building and repairing bridges.

Section 3

This ordinance shall take effect from and after its publication in The Weekly Kansas Chief.
