Ordinance No. 113

An Ordinance Extending the Limits of the City of Troy.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Section 1. That the corporation limits of the City of Troy be, and the same are hereby, extended so as to include the following adjacent lands, to wit:

Beginning at the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of Section Twenty (20), Township Three (3) South, Range Twenty-one (21) East; thence north to the section line between Sections Seventeen (17) and Twenty (20); thence east along said section line to a point where it intersects the south line of the right-of-way of the St. Joseph & Grand Island Railway Company; thence following the south line of said right-of-way in a westerly and southwesterly direction to a point where said line of right-of-way intersects the south line of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section Twenty (20), Township Three (3) South, Range Twenty-one (21) East; thence west to the place of beginning.

The territory included in said extension is hereby declared to be a part of the City of Troy, subject to all the laws of the city now in force, or that may hereafter be enacted by the Mayor and Councilmen thereof.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in pamphlet form.

I, James Reily, Clerk of the City of Troy, do hereby certify that the ordinances contained in this pamphlet are true copies of the original ordinances of the City of Troy; that those ordinances heretofore published took effect at the dates of their publication, as certified to herein; and that all ordinances herein published were passed at the respective dates named.

I further certify that this pamphlet was published on the 12th day of March, 1901, by authority of said City.
