Ordinance No. 111

An Ordinance Extending the Limits of the City of Troy.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:

Section 1. That the corporation limits of the City of Troy are hereby extended so as to include the following adjacent lands, to wit:

Beginning at the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section Twenty (20), Township Three (3) South, Range Twenty-one (21) East; thence west forty-eight (48) rods to the middle of Park Street; thence south along the middle of Park Street to the north line of the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railway; thence along the north line of said railway in a northeasterly direction to its intersection with the east line of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter aforesaid; thence north to the place of beginning; the same being Union Addition to the City of Troy and other lands; and said territory included in said extension is hereby declared to be a part of the City of Troy, subject to all the laws of the city now in force, or that may hereafter be enacted.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in pamphlet form.
