Ordinance No. 107
An Ordinance Prohibiting Playing Ball upon Certain Streets in the City of Troy, and Providing a Penalty for the Same.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to play at ball, either by throwing the ball from one to another, or striking, batting, or driving the ball with a bat, paddle, or club, in or upon any part of Main Street, Chestnut Street, Liberty Street, or Poplar Street in said City of Troy.
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined in a sum of not less than one dollar ($1.00) nor more than ten dollars ($10.00).
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its publication in pamphlet form.
