Ordinance #208
An ordinance providing for the acceptance of street improvements in the City of Troy, Kansas.
Whereas, street improvements heretofore authorized by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas under contract with Howard & Company, covering the paving, curbing and guttering and otherwise improving certain streets in the City of Troy, known as Schedules 1, 2, 3 and 4 have been completed; and
Whereas, Archer & Stevens, Consulting Engineers employed especially by said City to perform necessary engineering work in connection with said street improvements have been filed with the Clerk of said City a final estimate and certificate of acceptance of said work.
Now, Therefore, be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:
Sec. I. That the street improvements designated by as schedules 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the City of Troy as completed by Howard & Company, Contractors, and accepted by Archer & Stevens, Engineers, be and the same are hereby accepted.
Sec. II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
