An ordinance establishing and fixing the grades on Poplar Street, Center Street, State Street, Park Street and Jones Street in the City of Troy, Kansas.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy, Kansas:

Sec. I. That street grades shall be established and fixed on the center line of said streets as follows:

Poplar Street:

The West line of Main Street — 126.4 ft.
“ “ “ Center “ — 124.6 ft.
“ East “ “ “ — 126.1 ft.

Center Street:

The north line of Poplar Street — 125.3 ft.
“ north “ “ State “ — 120.8 ft.

State Street:

The west line of Center Street — 118.4 ft.
“ east “ “ Clinton “ — 115.7 ft.
“ west “ “ “ — 117.0 ft.
“ west “ “ Park “ — 127.40 ft.

Park Street:

The south line of State Street — 128.5 ft.
“ north “ “ Union “ — 125.3 ft.
“ south “ “ “ — 124.5 ft.
“ north “ “ Robinson “ — 122.9 ft.
“ south “ “ “ — 122.4 ft.
“ north “ “ Jones “ — 132.4 ft.

Jones Street:

The east line of County Road — 148.2 ft.

Said points above given shall be connected by straight lines and vertical curves or a combination of the two methods and shall conform to elevations and grade prepared by E. J. Archer & Co., the City’s Engineers and approved by the City Council on the 16th day of August 1920. The bench marks to which these elevations are referred are taken as follows: Stake on Main line St. Joseph and Grand Island Railroad immediately south of depot. Elevation 93.

Sec. II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Sec. III. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its publication in the Kansas Chief.
