Ordinance No. 170
An ordinance making the tax levy for the City of Troy, Kansas, for the year 1919.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Troy:
Sec. I. That for general revenue purposes for the year 1919, there shall be levied upon all the taxable property within said City of Troy three (3) mills on the dollar of the assessed valuation of the property in the said City of Troy, Kansas.
Sec. II. That there be and is hereby levied a tax of one (1) mill for opening, widening and bridging; to grade all streets, avenues and alleys; and for the building of bridges and culverts and sewers and footwalks across the streets, avenues and alleys on all the taxable property in the said City of Troy, Kansas.
Sec. III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the Weekly Kansas Chief.
