City of Troy, Kansas, Now Accepts Electronic Utility Payments
The city now offers the convenience of processing credit card and debit card payments electronically.
The City of Troy, KS, is pleased to announce the launch of KanPay Counter, a solution provided by Kansas.gov that conveniently processes credit card and debit card payments over-the-counter and online. Cards accepted are Visa, Discover, Master Card, and American Express.

to make utility and court fine payments only.
Please note: This method of payment will cost you 2.50% more. (Example: your bill is $100.00. You will be charged an additional $2.50 if you use this method of paying). Also, you need to get on line by at least 3 working days (not including weekends and holidays ) before the 10th, in order for the transaction to clear and be at the City by the 10th or you will still be subject to 10% late fee. Of course, if you don’t make it you still have until the 20th before your utilities would be shut off.

Topeka, Kan. –May _ 2016 - The City of Troy, KS, is pleased to announce the launch of KanPay Counter, a solution provided by Kansas.gov that conveniently processes credit card and e-check payments over-the-counter and online.
“Our constituents have been asking for the convenience of online payments for a long time. We are glad to be able to provide this secure and efficient payment processing solution,” said Jane Boeh, City Clerk.
The City of Troy, in collaboration with Kansas.gov, is now providing KanPay Counter payment processing for various constituent payments including utilities and court fines. Visit the city website at www.troykansas.com to pay online today.
KanPay Counter is designed specifically for state and municipal governments to process credit card and electronic check payments. The partnership between Kansas.gov and the state operates under a self-funded model where no tax dollars were used to develop and maintain the payment service.
